On the northern coast the weather is tourist-friendly pretty much all year round. There is certainly no shortage of great attractions in Morocco. The country enjoys a strong sense of culture and enjoys a long and ancient history. The cool blue water flowing over the sand of the beaches is a direct contrast with the hot white sands of the desert, while the greens of fertile valleys contrast with the browns and whites of the snow-capped Atlas Mountains. The country is romantic and mysterious and there is little wonder that Morocco is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Africa.
The Kasbah Trial
In the Deep South you could visit the Kasbah. This is where orchards, fields, palm groves and rose gardens, stretch out along a strip of fertile land. A beautiful place to visit.
The Sahara.
The Sahara is a desert that is very famous. It is described as a secret place, mysterious and tantalising. Located in Morocco it is one place to visit for a breath taking experience.
Ouarzazate
Where the roads between the Drâa, Dadés and Ziz valleys cross, Ourzazate marks the beginning of the great journey by dazzling the traveller with two magnificent kasbahs. Taourirt, the former residence of the Glaoui, is very beautiful.
Family-friendly beaches mean your kids will be more than entertained if you're at the coast. Older kids and teenagers will enjoy Marrakesh, Essaouira and a visit to the Atlas Mountains for families, could include camping, treks and desert safaris. |
